Alpha Therapeutics Launches CBD Oil For Dogs – Press Release – Digital Journal

Alpha Therapeutics LLC, a business in Scottsdale, Arizona, has announced that they now offer CBD oil for dogs. The company has revealed that a number of holistic veterinarians and others are providing details regarding the positive effects of using CBD oil for dogs. They point out that in the same way that CBD has helped humans, dogs can also benefit from CBD oil, with positive results having been reported for various illnesses, including heart murmurs, tumors, arthritis to seizures caused by epilepsy and other causes.

Geoff Dada, CEO of Alpha Therapeutics LLC, says, “There are a number of ways in which this natural product, derived from hemp oil, can be beneficial to dogs. Researchers continue to learn more about the herb and in many ways, the results are promising. It is important to recognize what the herb is and what it is not. CBD or cannabidiol is found in both hemp and cannabis. THC or tetrahydrocannabinol is also found in cannabis. It is THC that gives marijuana its psychoactive properties. Because CBD oils contain little or no THC, they have no psychoactive properties.”

When dogs are given CBD oil, they will not get “high.” Rather, dogs will benefit by feeling relaxed without getting intoxicated. It has been observed that CBD oil decreases anxiety and this is appropriate for dogs because they often suffer from separation anxiety or noise phobia. For humans, CBD has been found to bring down the anxiety and stress being experience by people during certain occasions, such as public speaking. CBD oil has been found to be effective in decreasing anxiety in both healthy people and those who are suffering from anxiety disorders.

CBD oil has also been found to be effective in countering the growth of tumors. Research has shown that in products like hemp and cannabis, there is an inhibition of the growth tumor cells and cancer cells. The oil has been found to be helpful in promoting the ability of killer cells of the immune system to attack and kill cancer cells. The cancer cells die because they are not longer capable of producing energy. The anti-tumor features of CBD are effecting in slowing down and inhibiting glioma cell growth and CBD may also enhance the efficacy of conventional cancer treatment.

Meanwhile, around one in 20 dogs are believed to suffer from seizures. These dogs are often given phenobarbital and potassium bromide to help control their seizures. However, these drugs may be harmful to the dog’s liver and other organs. Geoff Dada says, “You can use CBD to help with your dogs seizures. Studies have shown that CBD is effective in treating epilepsy, which is resistant to drugs.”

CBD oil can also be used for dogs who are in pain. The oil has been observed to be capable of decreasing nerve related pain and neuropathy. It can reduce the impact of inflammation on oxidative stress, which is a contributor to degeneration and premature aging. In acute pancreatitis, CBD oil has been observed to reduce inflammation, including intestinal inflammation, which is a symptom of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Furthermore, it has been found to act as an antibiotic against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).

And for animals who are suffering from autoimmune conditions and long-term inflammation, CBD has been found to reduce the production and flow of inflammatory compounds, which are contributors to auto-immunity, allergies, and hypersensitivities. It is also capable of reducing chronic inflammation and the production by the body of inflammatory macrophages.

Geoffrey Dada became part of Alpha Therapeutics in 2018, and he brought with him his more than 15 years of experience in business management. He got his bachelor’s degree in corporate communication in 2004 from Manhattan College. He was formerly the CEO and president of HR Base Camp, where he was able to achieve substantial corporate growth by emphasizing execution and operational efficiency.
